This novel was expertly written and the language, despite being translated, was still very descriptive and utterly frightening as a result. In fact, I do recall my heart rate rising significantly while I started to solve the mystery. Bit by bit, the answer became frighteningly clear and I couldn’t believe what I was reading. Throughout the novel, Harstad’s cliffhangers and terrifying clues encourage the readers’ imaginations to soar wildly with terrifying speculations about the moon’s mysteries.
I don’t think I can say much more without spoilers. My advice to you is to. read. this. book. It will truly change how you see the universe and it might just be the most terrifying novel you’ve ever read. After all, “in space, no one can hear you scream.”
The MPHS Script rates this novel a 5/5 stars.
